Carbonless paper is used by businesses to simplify transactions and keep accurate records. This type of paper is most commonly used for delivery dockets, credit cards slips and business forms and allows ink to be visible on multiple slips making it easier to keep records.

How can I design effective carbonless forms?

The following are some tips for designing effective carbonless forms

-Business forms should be made easy to read, self explanatory and as attractive and unique as possible.

-Use carbonless forms when you need multiple copies.

-Keep your forms as simple as possible and eliminate multiple parts when possible. The less complex, the easier to read and understand.

-Forms should have a professional appearance with your company's name and logo imprinted. They should be computer generated or type written and not hand written.

-Make sure you keep in mind who exactly is going to see and use these forms. Something that is appropriate for office use may be inappropriate to send to clients.

What are some of the sizes of carbonless forms?

Most carbonless form are either 8.5x11 or 8.5x5.5. However, you can order custom carbonless forms of almost any size. Make sure you order a size that fits your needs such as your envelope size, the information you need to include on the carbonless form, the storage space you have to file them.

How many parts do you recommend that I get.

That is entirely up to you and the use of the carbonless form. Select as many copies as the departments involved that will be receiving a copy. Make sure you allocate a copy for the billing department, a copy for the order processing department a copy for the client and a copy to remain in the book for future reference.
